Help with FL foreclosure

This page provides information that will help with fl foreclosure. The foreclosure process in Florida is a judicial process. The judicial process requrires that the lender file a case in the county where the property is located. You may want to read about the process at the following link before you continue: the Florida foreclosure process.

What this means to you is that you will have a lot more time than you might have if say the lender could foreclose on your home with a non-judicial process as is available in other states.

The judicial process allows you up to a year or more between the time that the lender files a notice of default at the county courthouse and when your home is sold at the courthouse steps. In Lee County, for example, as of December 2008, there is a backlog of 20,000 foreclosure cases. This means that even if they were to dedicate massive amounts of manpower in order to clear this backlog, it would take a year just to clear those cases. Use this time constructively to work with your lender to help you avoid the foreclosure. Click on the link below for tips on talking to your lender.

The most important thing you need to do is talk to your lender. You'll find that in this climate with so many other foreclosures occurring, the lender is very willing to work with you to find a solution. See the link below for a list of things you can do to avoid foreclosure.
